The Company ManagementOur Administrative and Management team average 25 years of solid executive experience. Our Administrative Staff hold Bachelor Degrees or even more advanced education or training in ENGINEERING, INDUSTRIAL MANAGEMENT, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ACCOUNTING, HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT and GRADUATE LAW SCHOOL STUDIES. The Security OfficersThe typical ESI security officer is 35-55 years old and has 5 years of security officer experience. They undergo a complete employment screening prior to being hired. Included are background investigations conducted to ensure stable, continuous and proven work records for a minimum of 5 years, an acceptable credit record, an unblemished arrest record and most importantly a proven record of treating others in a professional, respectful manner. Additional psychological testing is performed to ensure that each and every prospective security officer is within accepted parameters in the specific areas of Stability, Cheerfulness, Composure, Certainty, Activity Level, Aggressiveness, Responsibility, Maturity, Appreciation and Communication Skills. All security officers undergo a pre-employment drug screen as well as unannounced periodic screens. SupervisionAll security officers are led and administered to by fully trained site or field supervisors. Our supervisors consist of a varied cross section of backgrounds with solid records in supervision. Three have held command positions in the Indiana State Police for a cumulative total of 67 years. One served as a commander in the South African National Intelligence Service which is the equivalent of the United States Secret Service for 7 years. Others have served as command supervisors in areas such as the South Bend Police Department, the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department and with various private manufacturing firms. All have received extensive training in seminars dealing with supervision and management techniques. ESI supervision is constant and client reviewable. Administrative Management directs site and field supervisors on a daily basis. Supervisors are responsible for the administration of the ESI Training Program as well as the ESI CQM Evaluation Process. TrainingAll security officers are trained by qualified and certified instructors providing a minimum of 56 hours of intensive instruction in topics that include, Violence in the Workplace, Public Relations, Legal Powers, Patrol Procedures, Report Writing, Controlling Aggressive Behavior, Investigations and Interviews, Fire Prevention & Control, Safety, Disaster Control, First Aid, CPR and many other security issues. Supervisors are trained in Security Management, Physical Security and Loss Prevention, Protection of Corporate Confidential Information, White Collar Crime and Internal Investigation Techniques, Managing Employee Performance, Continuing Quality Management (CQM), EEO Compliance, ADA Compliance and Methods to Recognize and Prevent Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.
